It has been decided that the Barnsley Jogle, as an event, has come to the end of its life. The economics make it no longer financially viable. Fuel costs for the event could be £300 -£400. Add accommodation costs to that and the outing could be £600 or more. It has been one of the most successful and important events in the MMOC. Sadly, we have to lay it to rest
The Morris Minor Owners Club, with around 12,000 members, is one of the largest classic car clubs in the UK, and the Barnsley Branch extends across much of South Yorkshire. Whilst most of our members are from Barnsley, Doncaster and Sheffield we do have some from further away, in Derbyshire, Lancashire and even in Worcestershire (our Newsletter editor).

The Barnsley branch has an active calendar of events throughout the year with monthly meetings, trips out to regional and national MMOC rallies as well as the club's own JoGLE run every June from John O'Groats to Lands End.
